Razina Mitha and Liam Rutterford are back from America

Getting to work with the successful country heads of America and one of the best vice presidents was inspiring to say the least. It was a full two weeks packed with wisdom, opportunity and inspiration which allowed us to see that the world is your oyster when in the world of Appco.

On the first day we had nothing but high expectations and went off to the field determined to do well which is exactly what we did, showing that hard work, dedication and a great attitude can be applied in any country still having the same effect and results, this shows that here in the UK and in around the world the system taught really does work. Our goal was to break the records and it was with great satisfaction we did it, setting ourselves up with great focus and determination for returning to the UK. It was good to use all the knowledge we took with us from working here at Oracle Advertising Ltd. We have set goals and know what we have to do to get promoted, so gaining experience working with and helping people from a completely different background, is another skill set we can add to our list.

Business over there was unforgettable getting to spend time in New York on the weekends was also amazing. Michael Scully kindly invited us to a premier club weekend where we went to watch a soccer match. As united supporters it was an interesting experience to say the least. The guys over there are a very close knit family and made us feel right at home which we are very thankful for. The weekends were spent cycling through central park, sightseeing at the statue of liberty, empire state building, ground zero, entering every possible toy and sweet store, visiting Madame Tassauds and a comedy club, and most importantly SHOPPING! Two weeks really was not enough. Undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.

First Oracle Rising Stars of the Year

17th March 2012 saw the first Oracle Rising Stars of the year, bringing Scotland and England together.

The Hilton Hotel Manchester was the fantastic venue for Saturday’s meeting and a great day was had by all.

We had some motivating topics run by Ali Mir, Dan Thompson, Nicci Flynn and Danny Wood who not only educated but inspired everyone with their goals.

We were also lucky enough to have a guest speaker Darren Dunn who ran through some of the great success he is having with his organisation.

In the afternoon we heard from Ieuan Roberts, Nick Rees, Martin McCormick, Suzy Hussain, Matt Blackwell, Alyce Peatling and Imran Younus really proving how much Knowledge and success we had in attendance.

It was a real pleasure to see the promotions of the day; Tom Surtees, Gemma Hay, Ross Kennedy and Matthew Blackwell all getting their much deserved promotion to Ownership and who have already started proving their success in their locations. Congratulations also to Emma Rushon who got her promotion to Assistant Owner and Emine Sulyman, Sarah Foster and Danny Kelly who were promoted to Crew Leader.

Our very own Razina Mitha had a great day not only picking up her Rising star award but also getting her promotion to Crew Leader before jetting off to the US to work over there for a couple of weeks.

Congratulations to all the Rising Star winners, they were much deserved.

Promotion To Ownership – Imran Younus

Aurora Worldwide Promotion: Date 29th August 2011

What did you do before joining this business?
Before I started working with Ali Mir in Manchester, I was in the catering trade, front of house, silver service and I was also a Chef. My ultimate goal back then was to open a restaurant, which would provide a mixture of foods from China and India.

What are your future goals?
My goal going forward is firstly to get the office up to 60 Field Representations and to have saved £100k by UK & Ireland Rally next year. I’m giving myself three years to get promoted to Organisational Head.

Who is your inspiration?
Personally, the biggest thing that’s pushed me has been to retire my parents and to be financially comfortable and confident that I can send them on holiday twice a year. I would also like to buy a Range Rover Evoque Sport and put a deposit on a countryside house.

What are your Top Tips?

Believe in and follow the systems 100%, as they work
Apply everything that you get taught even if it doesn’t sound right at the time
Enjoy the journey – you will definitely have great memories for life!
If you want success, ask yourself a question: “Why do you want this? And how much do you want it?”
Everyone can be successful, it just depends on how deep you are willing to dig for your success
If you really want it, go and get it!
